No. Free schools are run on a not-for-profit basis by a charitable Trust. The school is run by the Headteacher and the leadership team and they are answerable to the Local Governing Body.

No. Free schools have to follow the new Admissions Code in the same way as all state-funded schools. The school is open for all to attend and our admissions policy will at all times be transparent and fair.

You can apply for a Reception place for both in-year and 2024-25 places via Warwickshire County Council’s coordinated admissions process.

Our wraparound care is being provided by Game-On Coaching to ensure our first intake of pupils have significant enrichment.

Our extra-curricular, after-school clubs will develop as the school grows. 

Yes. The school-led Little Griffin Nursery is attached to the school building and opened for children aged three and four in September 2023.

For the 2024-2025 Academic year, we will also be accepting applications for children from two years old.

Yes. All free schools are subject to inspection in the same way as other academy category schools. The school was also inspected by Ofsted before opening and will be subject to termly visits from the Department for Education during its first year.

The school is run by a Board of Governors who will be accountable to the Members of the board of the MAT established by Lawrence Sheriff School. In addition, the school is accountable to the Secretary of State for Education through the terms of its Funding Agreement. The school will, of course, be accountable day to day to parents/carers and the wider community.
